Naloxone Doses Distributed

Measurement Period: 10/2018-09/2019
This indicator represents the number of naloxone doses distributed in the St. Louis area (City & County). Naloxone can reverse an opioid overdose, and naloxone doses are distributed by the MO-HOPE project.

Why is this important?

The MO-HOPE project provides overdose education, naloxone training, and naloxone to those at risk of experiencing or witnessing an opioid overdose event. The number of naloxone doses distributed gives an understanding of naloxone availability and accessibility for overdose reversal and rescue in the community.
